General store questions
Questions about shipping or returns? Interested in a custom order or housing S&G products in your brick and mortar? All answers revealed.
How are orders processed and when should I expect my order?
Typically all products are currently made to order and in order of purchase. Due to this please expect 1-2 weeks for the product to be created. Custom orders may take longer due to our strict customer approval process, the sooner designs are approved the sooner they will be started. Shipment may take anywhere between 2-10 days depending on your local postal service.
Do you accept international orders?
Yes, our products are very excited to be shipped internationally!
I also live in Chicago, do you accept local pick up?
We sure do, please accept being flexible with location and schedule and we promise to be flexible with yours. Please note request for pick up upon order and shipping charges will be returned.
Do you accept returns?
In short no. However, if there is an issue with your purchase please contact us directly.
How thoroughly are your jars cleaned?
All of our jars and lids go through a three part cleaning process. That canners use to sanitize their jars before canning food products. First all labels are removed. The jars are all cleaned and scrubbed with dish soap and water, then rinsed with hot water. Next the jars go through a baking process to fight any remaining bacterial remains. The lids after the scrub are boiled and sealed with spray paint.
How likely is it for my jar to break?
These jars are former food and beverage carriers. They are fairly strong glass pieces. While I wouldn't suggest dropping them on the floor it does seem to take a lot to break them. All items housed in the jars are securely attached and sealed in the jar.
What type of felt is used for your pieces?
I use a mix of felt fabrics. More often than not I use eco-felt which is made from 100% post consumer recycled plastic. I have also worked with 100% natural wool felt.
I am interested in custom order, how does that process work?
As long as I have a good reference photo I always say I can make anything out of felt. After purchasing the deposit in the store and including the image in the message I will reach out to you with a complete price quote for you to approve. Some pieces I do a sketch that requires approval before starting the product(for mushrooms this generally does not apply) You will approve the final product and the the remainder of the payment (including shipping) will be made prior to shipment.
I own a store and would to love have your products available in my store. How do we set that up?
Just send a email my way. Simple as that. Whole sale and consignment are both available to brick and mortar shops.
I love your photographs though out the website where did you find the images?
All images on the website are my own and taken by me. Please do not remove them without my permission. If you have further questions regarding them please feel free to contact me.
